As an experienced dieter, way too experienced, I know that there are three things that will derail a diet:
Deprivation
Lack of results
Boredom
Lets look at deprivation? If you feel deprived, even for one second, the subconscious mind will drive you to the nearest cookie. Believe it. Your subconscious mind has only one primary goal? keeping you happy and satisfied. A state known as homeostasis. Balance. So when others are having dessert and you?re not, the subconscious is setting up to derail your efforts.
